The practice of medicine stands at a historic inflection point. Twenty first-century physicians must heal not only individual patients but also the systems that serve them. The HMD Physician Executive Pathway (PEP) was conceived to educate a new kind of physician — a clinician-leader fluent in medicine, policy, business, and technology.
Through the integration of the MD, MBA, MPH, and MHI disciplines, the PEP prepares physicians to lead hospitals, health systems, and national programs with evidence-based clarity and ethical conviction. This curriculum aligns academic rigor with real-world governance, ensuring that graduates can step into executive roles on day one with competence, compassion, and credibility.
